Welcome to St Mary’s website, and I hope you enjoy finding out about our Church and the wide community of people who make up our congregation. St Mary’s is situated just outside the southern suburbs of  Manchester in the county of Cheshire. The Church draws people from far and wide, who appreciate the beauty, peace and warmth that St Mary’s offers.

We are keen to show you what sort of a Church we are and the wonderful heritage we hold for future generations. We are blessed with magnificent buildings from a 14th century Church to an Elizabethan School House. Our grounds are well maintained and provide a perfect setting for our Services. Our worship is centred around the Book of Common Prayer. We value traditional worship complimented by our robed choir and pipe organ.

There are lots of people who make up the Church and I am absolutely sure that visiting St Mary’s a kindred spirit will be found. We aspire to excellence in all that we do and we are especially proud of the work we have undertaken to conserve the Church’s heritage. We know that at the heart of any Church are human relationships. St Mary’s is a place where genuine concern and care is experienced by all.
